Cottonwood House

A Place to Grow

Located in the heart of Cottonwood Heights, the Cottonwood House is where structure meets opportunity. Set in a safe, well-established neighborhood with nearby parks, local restaurants, and everyday conveniences, this home offers our young men a peaceful, grounded environment to do the work of building independence—without losing access to real-world connection.

Why Cottonwood Heights?

Location matters. Cottonwood Heights offers the rare blend of access and calm:

• Close to Nature: Minutes from Big and Little Cottonwood Canyons, this house is ideal for hiking, biking, skiing, and outdoor adventure.

• Centrally Located: Whether heading to work, trade school, or a local gym, most destinations are just 15–20 minutes away—Salt Lake City, Sandy, and Sugarhouse included.

• Quiet and Safe: The neighborhood is residential, safe, and ideal for evening walks, outdoor meals, and clear mental space.

About the House

Cottonwood House was chosen not just for where it is, but for what it offers inside:

• Comfortable, fully furnished bedrooms

• Large, open-concept kitchen and dining space for shared meals and cooking lessons

• Dedicated areas for group meetings, work, or quiet reflection

• Outdoor space for relaxing, grilling, or just getting some sun

• Close proximity to gyms, libraries, and public transportation

This house feels like a home and for many of our students, it’s the first time they’ve experienced a space designed to support growth in every sense.

Life at Cottonwood

Students at Cottonwood House are immersed in the Black Pines experience—mentorship, accountability, adventure, and life skills training—but with the added benefit of a more intimate connection to the outdoors. From mountain sunrises to quiet study nights, this house is a launchpad for what’s next.
